Communication is important during an emergency so people all over the world can find out what is happening and how they should deal with the situation. Also people can get help faster.
Some forms of communication that were used in recent disasters include texting, news, internet, blogs, emailing, MSN, newspapers, Skype, radios, megaphones, billboards and phone calls.
The essential information that needs to be communicated in an emergency is what happened, where did it happen, who did it happen to, why did it happen, when did it happen, how it happened and how it is effecting the area.
Before an emergency, we need to plan what needs to be communicated and the most efficient way to communicate this information. People usually plan using who, what, where, when, why, how and which questions. There are often trial runs to test if it works.

We could change the colour of the text and the background.
I learnt how to make HTML tags. They are how to change the text colour,
background, whether it's bold or italic and stuff like that. HTML means Hyper
Text Markup Language. Mr.Hitchman gave us a notepad file. In it , it had
how we could make the text blink. The tags were made and saved on notepad.
I found the last class really fun because of what i managed to accomplish and because I found it easy. Also I learnt that if you made one little mistake it wouldn't work.
